I'm very proud of the work put in from Team Quartz on our midterm project.
In Project and Portfolio III we took control of a proprietary game named SCRAPS, a futuristic dystopian adventure game, utilized the Unity game engine, and added Perforce as a version control and archival solution. I designed a level of my own with every tool we had on hand. It was a tough and arduous month of work. When it was over, I had a small military base where it was possible to reconnect GPS for a fortress like building called a bastion. The three elements needed to reconnect GPS were a transmitter, computer, and a GPS unit. The job of the player was to find the units and assemble the units in a bunker. To bring the level to life I made a script for consumables, another for breakable walls, and yet another for a container crates labyrinth to drop shipping containers into position to confound progress.
I've enjoyed the work of this project and the comradery of my team. It was very satisfying to put this project together.
